General Chaos was a game that warmed a lot of hearts back in the day but if you ask a gamer today if they remember kicking some butt in General Chaos, they’d look at you like you were crazy. That truly is a shame because this game was one that most grew up on and treasured throughout their childhood and even some of their adulthood. The game was essentially the prototype for games like Team Fortress 2 or even Call of Duty and we still see tons of elements of that title being thrown around today.

Well good news Generals, there is a sequel for the PC being made and it is part of a long list of kick starter titles that are being made by the best in the business, Brian Colin. Colin made the original General Chaos and the developers are actually looking for around one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars for the sequel. The game will be the same thing and based around the same objectives which is good because all it really needs is a revival and a remake of the graphics and mechanics that made it what it is today which is an amazing memory of an even better title.

According to Kotaku, the game will match up in that you will be on one of two teams with soldiers on each while you control one and there is some amazing AI to control the rest while you play the class that fits your character and play style the best. General Chaos has something to offer for those that love shooting and those that love strategy and all around creates a very solid melting pot as far as the community goes. Although, there WAS no community back when it was on the Genesis so we’ll see how it goes for the PC.
