Blizzard Removes Next Gen MMO From Careers Page

Blizzard is not representing themselves as the developer that they were at one point in time with the recent recall of their next generation MMO from their careers page.  Titan is the title that has been the buzz of Blizzard for quite some time now and fans don’t know whether or not is a promising future or a doomed future for this title since they’re no longer hiring for this game. I do not understand what is happening with the game but if good turns around from this, a lot of hating fans on the internet are going to look pretty stupid.

World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, and even their upcoming MOBA, Blizzard All-Stars are all still hiring for their teams so that question will continue to rise and it’s why is Titan showing the only change out of all of them. According to Gamespot, Mike Morhaime has stated “We’re in the process of selecting a new direction for the project and re-envisioning what we want the game to be…”  so the fact that Blizzard is being so dodgy about this is either the best move that Blizzard has ever made or the worst thing that they could have done for this title.

For those interested, Titan is going to be an MMO (or there are rumors that it might even not be that) where a player can use guns to do their damage, spells alone, or combine both for the most effective gameplay they can see. Cancelling on so many announcements and making sure that every little aspect is perfect from a technology stand point all the way down to what it is like leveling from one to ten.  One thing is for sure, it does not matter if they are hiring or not, Titan is going to be a title worth checking out in the end.
