Drama seems to be spewing out of big named company, Respawn, as the cofounder Jason West has left his partner due to personal conflict matters. The two founded the company fifteen years ago and although many average gamers may not know who Respawn is, they will be responsible for the upcoming blockbuster Titanfall that was announced at E3 days ago. According to Shack News, Jason West had an issue with the way Vince Zampella, current president of the company, was running things and said he was going to corrupt their company as a whole.

A letter that Vince Zampella had recently released as to why Jason West left stated that this was due to family reasons and he wishes him and his family the best. There’s no way to currently know the truth but past events has proven that if a big wig in a gaming company leaves, the co-founder or in this case partner will not state it was because of issues within the company itself. I don’t think this was because of family issues because if Jason is leaving the company, what reason does the man have to lie?

They did work successfully together for fifteen years but the one thing Vince Zampella stated that I do agree with is that working with someone else that long on all of the big decisions for the company is tough. As time goes by, people, opinions, and the world around us will change and it is an almost guarantee that people will not see eye to eye. As gamers, all we can do is hope that their newest announced title does not get affected by this and Respawn can continue to pump out some descent titles for the next generation that is soon to be the shift of the gaming world, no matter who is having a conflict.
