Gran Turismo 6 15th Anniversary Edition Revealed

Posted June 26, 2013 by Leeroy Jenkins in News

Gran Turismo is undoubtedly the most popular racing/driving title in the history of the genre and their anniversary edition has just been revealed. Players can pre-order this amazing game from the two main sources of video game purchase at this point and be happy with the fact that they did. IGN has just reported that if players pre-order the game from Gamestop, they will receive several bonuses that come with the anniversary edition automatically. These bonuses include twenty cars, custom paint chips, a race suit and helmet for your PS4 avatar and other bonues. Remember, you’re not paying any more money at Gamestop for these bonuses as this is something they do quite often for preordering with them.

Amazon is offering a bonus that may not incentivize as many players as the bonus received for preordering through them is one million dollars in credits for Gran Turismo 6. Now some gamers will read that and say that is a ton of in game money but let’s remember what kind of title we are playing. Those credits are going to buy you customizations for expensive cars, parts for the expensive cars, or the REALLY expensive cars themselves. So you have to wonder if owning twenty cars right out of the gate is more worth it to you than possibly having one car that is extremely fixed up and a contender on the track.

Either way, pre ordering this game can be chalked up to a win and the fact that every title before this has been amazing before this means that the next generation version is only going to be better. Gran Turismo 6 will be available in December for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Will you assault the track with an arsenal of cars and custom paint jobs or use that one million credits to juice up your favorite model?
