Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate FTP Announced

Posted June 5, 2013 by Leeroy Jenkins in News

Dead or Alive 5 has made yet another announcement involving their Ultimate pack that will include literally everything that Dead or Alive 5 has offered. Obviously this version does cost money so Tecmo Koei is going to bait in us gamers with a little sampler of what the Ultimate pack will include by allowing us access to four characters that will be included for free. I think this is a wonderful idea and it really gives players a taste of what they are spending their money on. For those that are skeptical, think of it as the same thing as a demo on Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.

For some reason or another, gamers everywhere must be struggling because they are actually upset that this free to play option is being thrown in there because they say it’s to “selfishly grab money.” I’m not a genius by any means but I’m pretty sure that if the FREE TO PLAY version is offering four playable characters, that they would charge at least ten dollars or something like that. To be honest, I wouldn’t be upset at all if they completely took this feature away because players are being so ungrateful. I mean, if you’re being offered free content, what reason do you have to complain, it’s not even like it’s for a limited time, it’s a free to play version.

You can even take these ‘core fighters’ and take them to online battles so there is literally no restriction with this version besides getting even more content for free and I believe that if you like a game, you should be supporting the developer and with this generous gift, we should all not only sample the free content but then consider picking up the Ultimate version of this amazing title.
