It has come about that the game publisher the formally known XSEED Games will now be known as Marvelous USA from here on out. MarvelousAQL made an announcement earlier on today that it is in the process of changing XSEED JKS, Inc over into Marvelous USA. XSEED Games will continue as that brand for all of it’s console, hand-held, and PC titles, while Marvelous Online will be in charge of all hand-held mobile and social games.

A lot of the workers and team members with the publisher XSEED Games will still keep all their previous positions in the company. XSEED CEO and president Shinichi Suzuki will continue on as CEO and President with Marvelous USA. Ken Berry will continue to manage the games selected for publishing. He’s been with XSEED Games since 2004.
Suzuki released the following statement: “Marvelous USA unifies our US operations under the global Marvelous brand while giving our customers topnotch products and support for both traditional and online social and mobile games. Our XSEED Games console and PC brand will continue to offer the quality games and service for which it is known, and Marvelous Online gives us expanded reach into mobile and online social gaming markets.”

The formally known XSEED game team has remained in it’s original location of Torrence, California, whereas the Marvelous team will reside in an office in Irvine, California. Tatsuya Nishioka will be the one in charge of Marvelous Online. This will bring the office numbers up to 40 in total.
