Flower Coming to Vita

The Vita has been a haven for Indie gamers and those that can’t get enough of the mobile gaming that doesn’t hit the mainstream media line. It turns out the very popular, upcoming game, Flower will be coming to the Vita and fans are going nuts for this title. I personally don’t quite understand it because all you do is direct some flower petals around and the world changes around you and to me that doesn’t seem like a game rather than just some cool wallpaper that you can use. I guess it’s good to take a break from the constant shooter or action/adventure game though with something that is a little bit more chill and a different environment.

The graphics are beautiful and the game will take advantage of the touch screen for the Vita and if a game can make a feature for a device stand out in the right way, then I’m all for that game. I’m not sure if I’ll be picking up this game or not because it has literally been months since I’ve touched my Vita and I don’t know if this game, as innovative and creative as it is, is enough to make me want to get back into it. I mean, once can easily view this as a puzzle solver, strategy game because it’s your job to move as the wind and make sure that the army of flower petals moving down the screen and world grows by interacting with other ones.

The end result is eventually to fill your screen, according to the few hours I spent with this game almost four years ago to date as it was originally released on the PlayStation Network and then put out on a disc. Those may not think that this game interesting but there is a reason this is the second time the game has resurfaced and will be making an appearance at E3
