Eternal Darkness Spiritual Successor Teased

There are some pretty sneaky things occurring over at Precursor Games as we have seen the successor to Eternal Darkness teased recently. Eternal Darkness, being the first Mature game to release for the Gamecube was an all – time favorite for many gamers everywhere. It would seem that developers everywhere still have a knack for remembering a good game when they see one and that excites me. The trailer released for the successor of Eternal Darkness and I could not be happier as it looks like it will be available for next generation consoles and I know for a fact that I will be picking up one of those for sure.

The teaser looked just as terrifying as Eternal Darkness did when it first came out and I have to say that the title coming from Bethesda and the announcement of this teaser are both making quite the terror game junkie again. I am not too sure what’s wrong with me, but I get in to these phases where there is nothing that can pull me away from games that terrify me like no other. I want to do nothing else besides walk around corners and scream my ass off when a disgusting face is screaming at you in the dark.

Judging from the teaser, this is going to be a title that nobody wants to mess with and I think that if you’re in right mind, you’ll stay away from the ‘spiritual successor’ to Eternal Darkness, but as most of us know, gamers are never in their right mind. I like that the scary games that you can’t stop playing are coming back because we all know it’s better than playing the twenty fourth Call of Duty for the year. I don’t think the game is going to be the biggest thing in the world, but whatever it ends up being, it will be big, scary, and entertaining enough to take my money.

Omg…When this happens…I will lose it! I’ve loved Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem for so long! One of the first games I got when I got my GameCube. It’s an incredible game! I’d love to see the sequel follow along the same lines as the original did. :)
