Has Blizzard been Saved by Rumors?

Blizzard is a developing company that has been around for many years and is mainly known for their World of Warcraft release back in 2003. Now many gamers believe that the company is ‘dying’ because so many players have cancelled their World of Warcraft subscriptions and for some reason, the community has rallied up in this hate fest of Blizzard and how they are so terrible. I think this is rather hilarious, as most of the gamers that are doing this, are the ones that have probably gave hundreds of their own dollars to Blizzard and are now upset to realize that they did. I personally don’t want Blizzard to fail, as they made a great game that addicts simply got sick of and now want something more.

Well, it seems that Blizzard might have just the thing with the recent minor reveal of the title they have been working on for quite some time now, known as Titan. This title has been announced as a third person MMO that will put players in the shoes of an avatar, will include earth’s past, and be involved with many aspects of Greek and Roman mythology. All of these subjects interest me greatly and I have to say that I am awaiting the day that the first angry kid tries to rally a bunch of players to hate on this title before even seeing what it’s about and he just gets shot down.

I have lost a lot of faith in gamers because of the World of Warcraft forums and their Facebook page but it’s possible that Blizzard might not ‘die’ because they are revealing this title at exactly the right time and I can confidently say that I will be happy to give any developer my money as long as they provide a quality game that I enjoy playing.
