Vita Outsells 3DS in Japan, Strong Sales Continue

It’s official that as far as sales go for the career of the devices themselves, the Vita has officially passed up the 3DS in sales. There are that many people starting to realize “hey, technology can do stuff and it’s pretty cool”. I will never understand why it took this long to be honest with you, with the Vita being out for such a long time, how did people not just trade in their garbage 3DS (only compared to the Vita of course) for a brand new Vita that could do almost ten times what it’s ancestor can.

I think that it’s time to realize that the 3DS has officially earned the ‘gameboy of our generation’ title and that is saying something about a device because there is nothing more original than seeing a Gameboy Color or something nowadays. It is sort of a bittersweet thing to see this happen because this is great news for Sony and all of those out there that support it, however, soon enough the ‘choco’ or ‘booda’ or something like that is going to replace our beloved Vita. As is the development of man and science and alike, we will see many great things with next generation gaming closing in fast.

These sales numbers don’t even compare to what the numbers will be in the difference of PlayStation 3 owners to PlayStation 4 owners. Now the main reason backing the recent pass in sales numbers and record breaking amounts made, however, the fact that it’s only dropped in Japan says nothing about how well this device is going to do. There are ridiculous amounts of Vitas that sold and most of us we’re burying our Vitas out back before we heard about this news so it is certainly welcome and now we want our price cut.
