Skylanders Becomes Top Seller Across the Board

Skylanders is the new sensation that is sweeping the kid nation with its unique style and gameplay in the form of collecting action figures and importing them in to the game. When a player wants to try out a different character or learn about them, they have to go to the store and pick out a new solid action figure that they want to take home. Once home, the player just needs to put the Skylander on top of a compatible pad that is designed to read the code associated with that action figure.

Skylanders will then start to play for that character and that character alone until the player decides to change it. I must say, when I first saw this game, I thought it was another Pokemon wannabe that would sell some toys for a week and then die out but at places like Gamestop and Best Buy, this game is selling out more than any other type of title. I think it’s the same concept as Pokemon when they were huge, I know that every dollar that I had in chore money went to my next pack of cards because I wanted my next rare or holographic. I can’t even imagine what I would have sacrificed if I could have taken those very cards and imported them in to a video game.

It’s not just the fact that you can collect some really cool monsters with even cooler names but if some other kid decides to mouth off to you stating that his Skylander creature is better than yours, all you need to do is place them on the pad and let your creatures do the talking. Keep an eye out for more Skylanders gear and watch as it slowly takes over the gaming world with its brilliant idea.
