The Elder Scrolls Online has entered beta and although I am sad to say I did not receive that epic email, I must say that Zenimax Online Studios has proved they care about us. As one of the biggest fans ever on the Elder Scrolls games, I have to say that when I hear anything about this game, it makes me stop what I am doing and find out everything that I can to make sure that I am one of the first to hear about it. Well I can confidently say that while I was just browsing around, I was lucky enough to find one of the coolest posts about the game yet and it even involves the crowned jewel of the game, Cyrodiil.

In the fight for resources and the most fertile land in the whole Tamriel, Cyrodiil is going to have a little bit of something for everyone. It would appear that only the PVPers would be able to do anything in Cyrodiil but for us that enjoy a story driven game and testing our skills against the enemies in The Elder Scrolls Online, there will be sections of the map of Cyrodiil that will be PVE focused. If an opposing faction controls the land, they will have NPC’s patrolling the outside cities and if you clear these guards out, you will receive rewards and experience for completing the quests there.

Caves down below filled with NPC’s and rare materials for crafting are not only guarded by undead werewolves and other things of that nature, but by other players as well as it will be an open world PVP experience down there. So whether you’re looking for some player kills or materials and quests in Cyrodiil, one thing is for certain and that is that Cyrodiil will be the most conflict filled section in all of The Elder Scrolls Online.
