Injustice: Gods Among Us is exactly where the world of fighting platform games is headed and that should be okay with anyone who has ever played them. The game has a solid cast of heroes behind it and even though some of my favorite Marvel heroes are not going to be featured in the game at launch, I’m still excited to see what these heroes have to offer. The most interesting side of this game has to be the story mode that each and every hero has. Every hero is on their way to solve their story and hopes to reach an end to battling villains as well as other heroes.

I have seen the Injustice: Gods Among Us demos and available gameplay released so far, and I have to say that with the graphics and actual gameplay of epic fights that can play out are impressive. Every single environment is alive and different as well as completely destructible and that is something that I can not get over. The fact that I have seen Batman in the air getting ready to slam down a shard of kryptonite in to Superman’s chest as he blasts Batman with heat vision. I am a nerd for these back stories and the fact that you can play villains as well makes it an even better experience.

Even though the story mode will have different plots for all, they will all engage in encounters with each other and I for one, cannot wait to start creating some epic battles of my own. I mean, who doesn’t want to see Joker take on the Green Lantern? Injustice: Gods Among Us is going to change the way that players view the heroes and villains in the comic books and stories that we have all heard for years. Who is going to be your guys’ favorite hero/villain.
