After teasing an announcement on Twitter yesterday, Bethesda has announced that Dishonored will get a new piece of downloadable content called Knife of Dunwall. The content will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on April 16th and will cost $10. The content will put you in the role of Daud, the mysterious assassin who killed the Empress at the beginning of Dishonored.

The Dishonored DLC will give gamers new weapons, gadgets and abilities as Daud and will “embark on a search for redemption” in Knife of Dunwall. Daud’s abilities include “Summon Assassin,” which calls upon the Whalers, Daud’s “loyal band of mercenary assassins.” Daud will have Void Gaze, which will allow him to track down hidden Runes and Bone Charms in the world as well as his own version of the Blink ability. Daud also uses Chokedust to daze enemies, Stun Mines to shock targets and a concealed Wristbow to fire both sleep and explosive bolts.

“The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who—or what—is Delilah?” Bethesda describes. “Your search will take you through never-before-seen districts of Dunwall as you face off against new and terrible foes. Employ a unique arsenal of new weapons and powers that enhance Dishonored’s dynamic combat, mobility and stealth systems. In the struggle to hang onto the last shred of your humanity, the choices you make will ultimately determine your fate.”

The Knife of Dunwall DLC is the second of three DLC packs promised to be released for Dishonored. The Dunwall City Trials, which was released in December was the first and the last will be titled The Brigmore Witches and will finish Daud’s story. The details on the final DLC pack have not been revealed yet. Are you ready for some more Dishonored? Leave a response in the comment section below and let us know.
