BioShock Infinite is as good as They Say

It would seem that 2K Games has done it again with a near perfect title such as BioShock Infinite that has just been an absolute joy to play. Having only played the first BioShock briefly and beating it rather quick, all I could remember was a scary game that I wasn’t too sure about and hoping that eventually we would get in to a little bit more action and stop being freaked out. In BioShock Infinite, the futuristic, 1912 setting really makes you feel like you’re part of something that has never been done before and the developers really hit the nail on the head with city in the sky.

I have to say that it has taken me forever to actually get the game started because I just keep stopping and looking around at all of the gorgeous graphics and environment around me. I continue to explore the city and I have to say that the way they were able to make all of the NPC’s be religious freaks without bringing actual religion in to the picture is sheer genius. Constantly they are chanting and praying for their savior of the sword and key and scroll but you, Booker DeWitt, are here on a mission and certainly won’t let a ‘savior’ come between you and the girl you’re here to retrieve.

The coolest things that I have done so far include riding the skyline and when I rescued the teenage girl from the tower, it was a very unique experience running in to the ‘Songbird’, who guards the city’s most valuable possession, the girl. As we descended the tower, huge claw marks starting coming out of the sides and mechanical eyes were looking in on us, but after we got out, now the bird is on the hunt and I can’t wait to see what the game has in store now.
