PS Vita: no price cut for America, Sony Confirms

The new Vita is just about here and Sony has confirmed that there will be no price drop for America since the Japanese version has already been released. Something that I don’t understand is why do they really think that that many people care. It’s going to be the same exact games and playstyle that has been on the PSP or any other handheld device that is currently released. Now the looks are nice and yes it’s what’s going to be new but that does not meant that you should be spending close to two hundred dollars for something that you can get and do for one fourth of the price.

The PS Vita is going to provide the latest and greatest entertainment and graphics for the mobile gaming community, but I don’t understand why that means Sony is going to get to charge a ridiculous amount for the same exact thing. This is kind of how it works but If any of you are going to be spending this amount of money for the PS Vita, there shouldn’t be a specific reason other than it may look a little different. I can’t condone that kind of reasoning but at the same time, I can’t stop people from making the choice that shows people are going to spend money on whatever has a new sticker stamped on it.

However, at the same time, if somebody only wants to play mobile games and that’s all that they have time for, then this is the road for them because it wouldn’t make sense for me to judge someone on buying the Vita when I am going to be the next Xbox. It’s the same thing, but I think that works because it’s a console and that’s my main source of gaming.
