In a recent interview with Zenimax Online Studios’ Paul Sage, players have found out more about the Elder Scrolls Online than they had ever hoped to before. There were several questions answered about the game in a way that didn’t just provide some run around answer that kept Paul Sage out of trouble which, as a gamer, makes me incredibly happy. There are certain aspects about the game that I was the most excited to hear about, one of which being that we have finally heard that, if you choose, the game is about %100 exploration.

Bethesda has told Paul Sage that he needs to “create your own game” and according to Paul Sage, there is nothing better than a “good game”. The most important thing is that both of the developers working on this game make sure that they do not just copy some other MMO or take the route of only an Elder Scrolls game. We all know that if they went either way they are going to end up with just another clone or they’re going to end up with a REALLY GREAT GAME, that you can only play by yourself. I just don’t want to keep getting excited for this game and be let down by some game that looked really promising, and there is nothing on deliver or execution.

The most important thing about a game is not the story, or the PvP, or how big the coolest dungeon is. The most important thing about a game and what makes it so successful is going to be the gameplay and how much fluidity there is. Paul Sage has assured every hopeful fan that the same things that made Skyrim and Oblivion great are going to be in the game and when you combine that with some of the most interesting, real-time combat seen in a while, it makes for a potent mix.
