Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Features Local Multiplayer
The Mario game series has been out for quite some time and it is widely known as the most popular game out of them all. Some of the developers over at Nintendo have been wanting to bring in some new ideas for some time now or even just make a game that focuses on another character other than Mario, not that he’s not an amazing character in every way possible. It seems that they have found the way to do that with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and not only is this new game going to feature the all new character, but it will feature multiplayer as well.
Not much has been released about the multiplayer, other than players are going to be lurking in the dark for some time trying to “take care” of each other in several dark mansions or levels. The fact that there is going to be local multiplayer at all is an awesome feature in these kinds of Nintendo games but in my personal opinion, it can’t be one of those game modes where the player has some sort of advantage by looking at your screen or knowing what you’re going to do next. I remember playing Mario Kart with my friends and if I was right behind them with a shell with their name on it, all warmed up and ready to fire so I could finally have the lead, but then right as I shoot, they decide that’s just a “lucky” time to swerve.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is going to be the best game available for the Wii U and I think that even if the local multiplayer isn’t the best, then the game itself is still going to be amazing. Look forward to this title in March of 2013.
