Nintendo TVii launches in December for North America
Nintendo has announced the launch of the application TVii for the Wii U console that was pushed back all the way from November when the console launched. This app is going to redeem the Wii U, in my opinion, and help with some of the flak that the Nintendo has been catching for making a “rip off of the Wii”. Again as somebody who is a fan of most video games or anything that has to do with the world of video games, I am able to look at both sides when it comes to the GAMING side of the Wii U, but now fans are going to see a convenience side when they can watch Netflix or Hulu within the paml of their hand.
Personally, I think it’s good to spend a little bit of money from time to time and if that means that I’m shelling out three hundred dollars just to get the applications that the Wii U is going to be full of (prediction that this console will become so app focused) then I’m okay with doing that because I have other systems for gaming and that kind of entertainment. So basically, Nintendo TVii is going to let users utilize any and all streaming system that they have like Netflix, Hulu, or TiVo. The entire system will have many ways to link to live television so sports and news can be viewed as well and it’s said that the MiiVerse is going to be easily accessible so friends can go post a status update if they’re watching a football game or have an opinion on an awesome show that’s on.
Nintendo TVii is the start of many brilliant ideas from Nintendo and fans need to have some integrity and give applause where applause is do. I may even be getting myself a Wii U for this purpose alone and I can almost guarantee based on the feedback that will come from this, it’s going to be open up a world of exploration with this console.
