LEGO Lord of the Rings

LEGO Lord of the Rings Review Pic

LEGO Lord of the Rings is finally here with its all new gameplay mechanics, improved graphics, and actual dialogue! The game is one of the best ever played as far as the LEGO games are concerned but that statement is a little biased considering the fact that I am a long time Lord of the Rings fan. The movies are all amazing as well as the books, but this game has really done the series justice with this fun and corky adventure as some of the legendary heroes, in LEGO form. Exploring each of the events from all of the movies is a blast and fans will remember each and every scene as they replay them in this epic game.

The biggest deal for me with this game is how it compares to the other LEGO games in its size and proportion. The actual speaking in this game is what brings this LEGO game to life more than any of the others ever have been or ever will be. Something to remember is that even though, compared to the movies and books, this game may be light and a funny adventure,  it’s a darker LEGO game than all of the other ones combined. It’s not like there’s blood or any type of violence as the orcs that attack you just turn in to a mess of blocks when you kill them, but being attacked by ten thousand orcs while you hold off a wall (as seen in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) is not something that has been in previous LEGO games.

Helping Frodo destroy the ‘one Ring’ is a blast in this adventure that everyone can partake in and LEGO has done an epic title right with an even more epic game with LEGO Lord of the Rings.
