LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS PIC

Lord of the Rings is one of the most memorable movies that has ever hit the industry and in two weeks, players will be able to enjoy playing the intense action, adventure as LEGOs. The LEGO games have always been impressive with their corky attitude and smart sense of gameplay. Normally, a gamer would think, “Oh that’s a LEGO game so it’s for a little kid” but then would try the game, get hooked and actually have a wonderful time playing it.

I can remember trying out LEGO Indiana Jones and having a blast swinging around with my whip made of LEGO and having a great time while I watched the hilarious storyline unfold and laughed pretty hard at some of the cinematic scenes. LEGO Lord of the Rings, however, is adding what looks like a bit more of a serious touch and they have updated the graphics engine for this one. If fans of the LEGO games check out the website, they will see that LEGO has done what they always done with their big launches and the put an idea of what scenes the players will be facing within the game and LEGO Lord of the Rings covers all three of the movies in one way or another. It wouldn’t feel right if you skipped a movie or some crucial part in the series. For those that want the game but have not seen the movie (not too sure if anyone hasn’t seen it), LEGO has made it very aware that you can’t get the whole story by playing the game but definitely the general idea.

From cave trolls, to defending the wall in the Two Towers, LEGO Lord of the Rings will be available mid November of 2012. Keep up the good work LEGO!
