You have 20 dollars. You have 20 unattached dollars. You haven’t had 20 dollars to do whatever you want with in such a long time and you want to get a game. You’re thinking you will probably be only able to get one game but WAIT! YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT! This edition of Gaming on a Budget gives you a quick bundle of THREE games you can buy with only 20 dollars that are not only good but varied to keep you entertained. This edition gives you three PlayStation 3 games you can get at your local GameStop all for 20 dollars, tax included.

Red Faction Guerrilla – $6.99

Red Faction was a beloved franchise from the PlayStation 2 era that hadn’t been seen for a long time when Red Faction Guerrilla came out. It was a homecoming unlike any other, in which you knock out the support beams to said home with a sledgehammer and watching it come crashing down! Volition took the lessons they learned from the Saints Row series and remodeled the series from a first person shooter into a third person open world title with the ability to walk around the planet Mars and take down every structure you see with various tools as your disposal. At $6.99, this game is more than worth it and every gamer should have this title in their library.

Street Fighter IV – $4.99

For nearly 10 years, the Street Fighter series stayed in the dark. No new releases came out aside from the occasional collection of the older games or ports onto handhelds. While Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the PSP was nice, we craved a new entry in the series and in 2009, Capcom finally delivered with one of the best games in the franchise. Street Fighter IV brings the series into the future while maintaining the enjoyable gameplay intact. Graphics are beautiful and the roster boasts over 20 fighters with all of the characters from the Street Fighter II games as well as new characters and a few fan favorites. If you don’t have this game by now, get it for only $4.99.

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway – $4.99

With games like Call of Duty and Battlefield out on the market, there are a lot of gamers craving a more substantial experience in their first person shooter. The Brothers in Arms series is known for being more of a thinking man’s game with more of a focus on the single player campaign than multiplayer and Hell’s Highway is no exception. The story depicts the struggles soldiers go through in war, specifically World War II, and the gameplay has a slower more methodical pace. In addition, you have the ability to position your squad in an effort to flank the opposing forces. The game is only $4.99 on the PlayStation 3 now and if you want a first person shooter with a more serious tone, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is the game for you.

There you have it, three awesome games for $20. Who knows when you’ll get some extra cash again but luckily these games should tie you over for awhile. Check out the next installment of Gaming on a Budget where I highlight great games you can get on the cheap.

Hello. I'm Esteban Sky Cuevas aka Colorwind and I'm the managing editor for Gaming Precision. I've been gaming ever since I was six years old when I played Sonic the Hedgehog 2 at someone's house and then begged for a video game console. That console was a NES but I quickly moved on to a SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64, Atari 2600, Game Boy Color, Dreamcast, PS2, Saturn, GameCube, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and 3DS. I like all genres of video games but I'm partial to Platform titles, Action Adventure games, and fighters. I love old SNK fighters like Samurai Shodown and Fatal Fury, and my favorite video game character is Sonic the Hedgehog. My top five consoles are in reverse order the Xbox 360, SNES, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Genesis and Sony PlayStation, although I often talk about how the Sega Saturn deserves more attention than it got. Check out my Twitter and Tumblr if you would like to follow me.
