Cabal fans rejoice! ESTsoft has announced their Pre and Open Beta dates for their new MMORPG Cabal II Online. The open beta is scheduled to begin this Wednesday (November 14) and Pre Open Beta Phase starts today. Along with the start of OBT, a brand new teaser was also released showcasing some of the playable characters in-game.

In an interview with a Korean gaming website with developer ESTsoft, most questions about the game has been answered. Originally scheduled to have a 5-year development cycle, The Neo-force Era took 7 years to complete. The developers were met with certain challenges in making the best choices for a perfect game. Also with the late decision of which features to add and remove and using CryEngine III for the gameplay engine, a massive delay could not be helped.

With a huge improvement from Cabal I, the long wait may be all worth it. In this latest version, there will be more AoE (area-of-effect) skills, which was lacking on the first game. Mounts are used in place of “dash” skills for increased movement speed. It will first be given at level 10. The ranged classes are for female characters while the male gender will assume melee classes. The 100vs100 nation war is now downsized to 2 options- 40vs40 and 20vs20. PvP arena is planned, and there will be no PK maps.

Cutting-edge style action boasting rich scenarios and with an ending to boot, the long awaited sequel to worldwide hit Cabal Online will soon be ready. It’s gameplay greatly surpasses its predecessor. Live in the Neo-force Era and fight life-like monsters while you experience a rich storyline that will leave you wanting for more.
