Resident Evil 6 Sells 675,000 Copies In Japan In It’s First Week

According a Japanese numbers company, Media Create, Capcom’s latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil 6, has sold 675,000 copies within it’s first week in Japan.
Media Create has slated the numbers at 634,000 copies on the PlayStation 3, and 41,000 on the Xbox 360. Which is way more than the last Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 5, which debuted in 2008. During it’s first week, Resident Evil 5 sold 398,747 copies in Japan in it’s first week, with 319,590 being on the PlayStation 3, and 79,157 on the Xbox 360.

Capcom is a great gaming company…they make incredible games and have an extensive following that spans across the globe
So far I’m enjoying RE6…And when RE5 came out, I loved that game! Beat it several times :3
