Hitman Absolution is almost out and it’s been unexpectedly turning some heads in the gaming world and now they are releasing details such as a difficulty list. It would seem from this difficulty list, there is going to be a way to play the game for every kind of player out there. It’s important that developers remember that not every player is going to want to do the same thing so allowing options is always going to make for a better game, especially when you can basically finish a game by playing it a different way around every time.
For players that want to run in guns blazing, there is a difficulty for that style of gameplay. Also, for gamers that would prefer to go through the entire game without being spotted by an enemy, there is a difficulty for that style of gameplay as well. Some of the features of the easiest difficulty include things like being given additional checkpoints, regenerating energy resources, and enemies reacting slower to your attacks, abilities and decisions. Whereas the hardest difficulty does not have any of those features and even only lets the player use a crosshair instead of a heads up display that is normally there but that difficulty is only for the experienced players and you should not try it that way off the start.
I think it’s a wonderful idea to include multiple difficulties and Hitman Absolution is going to have five difficulties so every spectrum of player will be covered. Agent 47 will have his work cut out for him no matter what difficulty you choose but it’s not just the difficulty of the game you’re playing, it’s how you play it that really matters. Hitman Absolution will release on the 20th of November of this year.
