God Of War: Ascension Pre-order Bonus Includes 300 Content
There’s a lot of video games out there that will give you something extra if you pre-order the game from a retailer. Usually it’s something along the lines of the a special gun or more money when you start up the game. Sony has decided to use this same strategy for its upcoming title in the God of War franchise. However, the company has also decided to incorporate another property in its pre-order bonus.
If you go to GameStop and pre-order God of War: Ascension before its March 12, 2013 release date, players will receive a multiplayer DLC pack that allows you to dress up as King Leonidas, Gerard Butler’s character in the movie 300. The outfit will comprise of both his armor and his weapon of choice, a spear. This content from a five year old movie makes a lot of sense as both the game and the movie have a lot of similar aspects to them. Both are connected to Sparta and both have main protagonists who yell a lot.
What do you think about this pre-order bonus? It is cool or a little too late? Comment below and let us know.
