A while back there were statements of a Family Guy game release, and the dates have now been announced. Activision’s Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse has been announced to release here in the U.S. on November 20th, and in the U.K. on November 23rd.

The game will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360. There will be a campaign mode with Stewie and Brian, along with  co-op and competitive multiplayer modes in which you can play from various characters from the Family Guy series.

Several people have questioned whether this game would be a downloadable $15 game on XBLA/PSN, but according to GameStop.com, it is a retail game, priced at $59.99.

I think I may have to rent this Family Guy game once it comes out, just out of sheer curiosity.
