Assassin’s Creed is more popular than it has ever been before and the talks that were in place for a movie surrounding the game have turned in to rather promising plans. Ubisoft as a whole has been focusing more on working with their movie team ‘Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ to get development of what looks like is going to be a ground breaking movie. For years, fans have been waiting for a movie to come out even depicting the first game but the talks are saying that is where the movie is going to start.

New Regency is going to spear-head the project and provide insight and a producing direction for the Assassin’s Creed Movie. Playing all of the games through the story line has always felt like you were watching a movie anyway, so it only fits that there is going to be an actual movie now. It would be so easy for producers to make a ton of money off of several movies each featuring a different timeline. The ideas that the games are already going with are perfect and the last thing that needs to happen is to change the direction or ideas. The reactions to these recent announcements have ranged across the entire plane in that some people are worried because other movies that have come from games have not done well at all. The other side is a community that is completely undecided because they don’t want the makers to rush things and instead just want them to take their time to do things right. While the negative side of the gaming community just think it’s a bad idea.

No matter what is said about it, the idea to make a movie about the classic good guy versus bad guys is the way to go, and an Assassin’s Creed movie is going to make a ton of money for Ubisoft.
