Assassin’s Creed III-An Assassin’s Journey Trailer
Assassin’s Creed III is right around the corner and Ubisoft has released one of the most amazing trailers ever made; An Assassin’s Journey. In the trailer, the player basically gets to see why Connor is doing what he is doing and see what alliances and enemies he is going to make. The trailer starts with some intense dialogue with him explaining his childhood and how he had a wonderful life. All of a sudden, everything turns to flames and a frightened Native American child is running through a burning village which kicks off a life built on revenge.
First of all, credit has to be given where it’s due since Ubisoft has basically made it look like this game would be one of the best movies ever made as well as a great game. Every second of that trailer had me leaning on the edge of my seat wondering “what kill am I going to see next?” or “when is it going to do that beautiful scenery transition again”? That trailer showed combat on land, combat at sea, and following this amazing man’s life as he tries as hard as he can to take revenge on the murderous Templars in that time period. I have agreed with Ubisoft from the start about making Assassin’s Creed III all about the Revolutionary War and how America fought against tyrants for a free land. The fact that a developer will take the time to integrate historically accurate events and moments in history, as well as the historical figures within those events says one thing; they care.
An Assassin’s Journey is all over the internet and if for some reason (who knows why?) you have not been too sure about whether or not you want to check out Assassin’s Creed III, check out the trailer, it really fills you in and gives a good heads up. Great job Ubisoft, can’t wait to start killing some red-coats on October 30.
