Assassin’s Creed 3 Multiplayer Looks Promising
Assassin’s Creed 3 is right around the corner and Ubisoft has graciously touched on that topic that we’ve all been waiting for and that’s the multiplayer. In the other Assassin’s Creed, if you weren’t playing through the amazing story for the third or fourth time, you were hunting down another player that was hiding in a crowd or standing right behind you ready to kill you instead. The multiplayer, when it was first introduced in Assassin’s Creed 2, was something that all of the fans were a bit skeptical of to say the least.
Wondering how we could take each other out in a team death match or domination game mode, players reluctantly queued for games, hoping that the new aspect wouldn’t ruin the game altogether. Surprisingly, Ubisoft saw a balance of people that hated the multiplayer, and players that could just not get enough of how perfectly balanced the play style was and how they managed to make this already unique style even more unique and fun. The trailer that has been released for the Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer game mode has shown even more promise than the other games had and then some. The most impressive side was the amount of characters that you could play and the way they assassinate the targets are as different as the kind of people they all are. The gameplay looks cleaner than ever and the movement of freedom and style has been carried over to the multiplayer from the campaign which is so nice of Ubisoft to do for us.
The multiplayer is going to be interesting with perks and classes that are going to change the way it was originally made, it is going to hold the attention of assassin fans everywhere and if you’ve been ignoring this side of the game, Assassin’s Creed 3 is the perfect time to check it out and see if you feel differently.
