It’s been released that Sony‘s VP of hardware marketing has announced that Sony will continue supporting the PS3 until at least 2015 with first-party games. According to Koller, there are a large amount of great games soon to come. No titles for the games have been released yet, but they promise that in the next 2-3 years there will be incredible games released for the PS3.

All this from a recent interview with GameSpot, John Koller stated, “We’re going to continue supporting the PS3 for the next few years. Absolutely. And we’re going to continue supporting it not only that long, but as long as there is a development spigot that’s running hot. And I can tell you right now, the development spigot for PS3 is very hot. A lot of great games coming.”

I for one look forward to these “mystery” titles that we will be getting within the next few years, I can’t wait to see what they will do to keep us interested in the PS3, especially since the PS4 is slated to come out within the next year or so.
