Resident Evil’s Raccoon City Takes Over Universal Studios Japan
Come this Friday, in preparation for the annual Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios Japan will be turning their theme park into a real-life version of Raccoon City, the iconic city made famous by the popular game franchise, Resident Evil.
Using the earlier games from the Resident Evil series, they are creating a very detailed clone of the city. For example, to create the one and only Umbrella Corporation Headquarters, they remodeled the Cyberdyne building from their previous Terminator 2 attraction. The tour guides that will be giving the tours through this gruesomely awesome attraction will be dressed as some of the popular characters from the Resident Evil series, such as Chris and Claire Redfield, and of course, Jill Valentine.
This amazing terror of an attraction is set to open this Friday, September 14th, and run until November 11th. Which is a perfect time frame, seeing as how Resident Evil 6 hits stores on October 2nd. And is also the perfect addition to anyone’s Halloween this year.

I would love to be able to see a real-life (and safe) version of Raccoon city, such a cool idea!
