Resident Evil: Raccoon City Terrible Substitute
Resident Evil is a legendary series about your classic zombie survival story that has been rocking the gaming consoles for years. Players have been trying to wait patiently for years for Resident Evil 6 to come out and Capcom has sure been taking their time to make sure they perfect the next “real” Resident Evil masterpiece. The reason I say “real” is because there was a little title that was recently kicked out called Resident Evil: Raccoon City that does not do any of the other games justice in the slightest.
Resident Evil: Raccoon City puts the player in a situation where they have to deal with the Umbrella corporation and the game shows more of anime action game versus surviving the zombie apocalypse. It’s already being discussed that even the real Resident Evil games are starting to not feel scary or like a survival game anymore but this game really takes the cake. There are super agents from Umbrella that are chasing you down and trying to kill you and they move at a concerning rate and work for one big bad guy. There is nothing a player hates more than when a developer takes a game and changes the storyline one hundred percent from what is supposed to be.
The game looks terrible and there have not been too many people that even know what the game is about. Waiting for Resident Evil 6 looked like it was going to be easier, with sort of a secondary title for fans to waste their time with but with the reviews that the game got back and the media that was released about the game, it does not look like it was worth the buy and hopefully players will do their research before they’re fooled in to buying this game that had the nerve to put Resident Evil on the cover.
