Killzone Series

Killzone is one of the most underrated, intense first person shooters for the PlayStation 3 that is out there today and Sony has just announced that the trilogy is on its way. Fans of the one of the most amazing games ever created will be able to enjoy killing the Hellghast armies in all three of the pieces that make up the masterpiece. The thing that most of the PlayStation 3 players don’t understand is that Killzone has been around for years and years since the original game was for the PlayStation 2. However, those that were playing the game for the PS2 never wanted it to end because they knew that once the game was over, another one like it would not be made for quite some time and boy were they right.

Fans of the newest Killzone, the third one, are going to see what started the crazy campaign and multiplayer that they are endlessly enjoying today on the PlayStation Network and should realize that they are very lucky that game isn’t available for the Xbox 360 where they’d get some real competition from the old school fans of Killzone (yes I used to play the game a long time ago). The trilogy that is being announced will include a completely re-mastered original game along with the other two and it is actually being argued that it is too soon for an entire collection to be out but who needs a reason to own three of the greatest PlayStation games ever made?

Guerilla Games did a wonderful job in the timing since the game has been out for quite some time and now players can go back in time to see what a real Killzone player had to go through. There are also the fans out there that have been playing the game since the day it came out and they will not be able to put the trilogy down when it releases in October of 2012.
