Skyrim Hearthfire DLC Announced

To all of those Dragonborn out there, Skyrim has another epic DLC coming out September 4th and this one has a really nice touch. Instead of players just storming another dungeon or taking out another dragon (not that isn’t fun and one of a kind in Skyrim) but players will now have their very own house and a family to come home to after they have been out for a nice day of destroying enemies and epic looting. Not only will players be building a custom house and carefully raising some children with a wench of their choosing, but they will need to carefully raise said children, defend the house from monsters and disasters, and of course do everything the wife says.

The storyline for Skyrim was that of an epic one and so far the DLC release they have kicked out already was a blast and there are more and more aspects of the game still being discovered today, but Hearthfire kind of adds a completely different side to the game. More of a Sims feel is never a bad thing because we all know there are a ton of fans out there that can’t get enough of that stuff, but now players can make sure they have a home to come to every night (if they feel like a little role playing that is) and really take care of their house.

Aside from the house, previews have already shown that raising children, however many you choose to have will pay a crucial role in the game as well. Of course Hearthfire is just for those that wish to explore this content, because there are those that think that it is a waste of time and they are entitled to their opinion. The expansion may not be for everyone, but it is a wonderful idea and it could not have come at a better time.
