Medal of Honor Warfighter Preview
Medal of Honor Warfighter (MOHWF) is said to be one of the most beautiful first person shooters of all time. EA did a wonderful job in the 2010 Medal of Honor Tier 1 game, as far as keeping up with the other huge titles being released at that time. However, MOHWF is being called “the most anticipated war game of 2012”. This is a monumental achievement for EA, and its creators, using the Frostbite 2 engine to really kick these graphics into overdrive.
The game has so many interesting aspects to it as far as freedom of choice, storyline ties, and the fact that the game matches up with old and current global events happening at this very moment. Now being able to choose which “faction” you will be following in the campaign and multiplayer is one of the first great choices that they made. This will change the weapons you can choose from, the style that the squads play, and how the missions are executed. The other great and unique side is the fact that the global warfighters are following stories and events written by real Tier 1 soldiers all over the world. Now this may cause some legal problems or serious disputes later on, but to be honest, this game will probably have one of the highest sales numbers in 2012 considering this aspect alone.
Players have been waiting quite some time for this game to come out since the 2010 release regarding Tier 1 soldiers as portrayed through the eyes of the developers. However, for a gamer to feel as though they are controlling an actual Marine, or SAS, or whatever faction they decide is empowering to say the least. Medal of Honor Warfighter hits the shelves October of 2012 and players may not be ready for the revolutionary ideas presented in this masterpiece.
