Fan-Made Super Mario Galaxy 2.5
Why wait for the next release of your favorite title, when you can make your own installment? This is apparently the thinking behind the creation of Super Mario Galaxy 2.5, a project taken on by fans of the series.
The team still has a ways to go, and is looking for helpers of all shapes and sizes–level designers, composers, artists, etc. Check out their website if you’re interested in adding to the effort, or if you’d simply like to learn more. There is a work-in-progress demo available for download at the site.
Gameplay footage of the demo content is also available on YouTube if you’d like a preview of the preview of what’s to come. Being a fan-made project, there is no official release date for Super Mario Galaxy 2.5, so stay tuned to learn more about the ongoing effort.
