EA has revealed a “Premium Edition” of Battlefield 3 to hit shelves September 11, 2012. This special version will include a copy of the game plus a subscription to Battlefield 3′s premium DLC delivery service, coming in at $69.99.

The pack will feature a slew of DLC through the premium subscription bonus, plus a Multiplayer Head-Start Kit, which includes 15  different weapons, gadgets, and vehicle upgrades unlocked right off the bat. The bonuses are intended to attract new players and allow them to jump right into the game.

Some look forward to the chance to get in on the action, while some current players who paid full price for the game and the premium service feel slighted by EA. What’s your opinion on the matter?
