The Elder Scrolls is a series that has been around for years and has provided gamers with the fantasy setting with flawless conditions. Throughout the games, players have travelled across vast lands of exploration and come across countless beasts along their path. There has been one thing wrong with Elder Scrolls for the longest time however; it’s needed a form of MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online).
Zenimax Online Studios, which happens to be quite a seasoned development team, will be gracing players with The Elder Scrolls Online. There has been next to no content released as it is their plan to keep players interested with what they have dropped already, as far as the intense cinematic short videos go. Players will be playing a hero of their choice based on the Elder Scroll games’ classes and the setting will be in Tamriel. The “world” of Tamriel includes lands such as Morrowind, Daggerfall, and the latest of all, Skyrim. Combining all of these classic hits is sure to cause quite the stir on release with players either favoring the areas of the games they like best, or wanting to explore the sides of those they haven’t even seen yet. From raiding temples in the mountains to slaying dragons with a group of friends, Elder Scrolls Online is said to be the revolutionary beginning for how MMOs should be made.
Elder Scrolls Online is said to be released in 2013 and it will of course be for the PC or Mac. Exact system specifications are going to be released at a “later date” and players can rest assured that every aspect that is in an MMO nowadays will actually be in the game. There will be a beta for us to get our greedy hands on it, however, the release date for that is also going to be determined at a “later date”. Much can’t be said about the game now, other than it comes from a very popular family and Zenimax Online Studios is going to have to step it up in the gaming world to make the statement they want to with this game.
