TERA Online: Sneak Peek and Beta Testing Announced

Posted February 4, 2012 by Brad in News

En Masse Entertainment’s TERA is not your typical MMORPG. In place of conventional point and click combat, TERA employs real time action— where the difference between victory and success does not depend on statistics alone. Players will explore vast and vibrant worlds, developing their characters’ stats and honing their combat skills along the way. The game is showing a lot of potential, and, thanks to the upcoming sneak peeks and beta testing, soon we will be able to see for ourselves whether or not it lives up to the expectations.

Beginning February 12th, keys will be released that will allow players to get a sneak peek on Saturday and Sunday from 3PM CET to midnight on each day. Keys will be available through the website  Accounts will be erased after the peek, and beta tests will be available soon after. February 17th, to be exact. Five closed beta tests will occur each weekend between then and April 15th, and the open beta will begin on April 19th.

Tera Online 2

Pre-ordering will be available starting on the 2nd of February, granting players goodies, including access to the full game 5 days before its May 3rd release, the ability to reserve a character and name ahead of time, and access to the closed and open betas.

TERA is a potential breakthrough in the massively multiplayer online world. To get a head start on the action, take advantage of these awesome opportunities!
