It is Thursday night, which means it is time to relax with drinks and either friends or video games. No wait, why should you have to choose? The answer is you shouldn’t, which can only mean it is time to play drinking games with friends. My friends, it is time for Thirsty Thursday.

One of the most popular gaming franchises in the world right now is Call of Duty, with Modern Warefare 3 being one of the most anticipated games this year by the hardest of hardcore gamers and casual gamers alike. This drinking game, however, requires Call of Duty: World at War. Load up the local multi-player, one of the greatest features in the game, choose your beverage, and prepare for the destruction of your enemies. Or kidneys. Which ever comes first.

Now the instructions to playing this game are very specific. Players MUST pick the load out with the Molotov Cocktail (I do believe it is the load out with the double barreled shotgun) and the martyrdom perk. The map to be played on should be Dome. Now obviously the idea is to kill your friends as many times as possible, but you can only do so with a flaming cocktail of doom or by knifing them, no shooting of any guns is allowed. Dome is the map of choice because it is rather small, and in the middle of a big rumble of people re-spawning and dying, the martyrdom perk will play havoc with people’s strategies. Honestly, though, the only strategy is charge and jam the right stick hoping you knife the person first.

Flaming Goodness

Now after the dust settles, the fires are put out, and the pieces of bodies have been swept away, the drinking will begin. The player who comes in first will be exempt from drinking, but the losers will take their score, subtract it from the winners, and that is how many shots of whatever they chose to drink will be going into their stomach. Did I forget to mention that you may not want to choose liquor for this game? Oh sorry, you may not want to choose straight liquor for this game, especially if you are particularly bad at Call of Duty.

Now it is time for penalties and bonus shots! For the douche that always gets annoyed and starts shooting their gun, they must take two shots for every kill they got with a gun. Players must also take a shot for every time they were killed by a dog, if someone got on a hot streak long enough to summon those little demon spawns.

Again, I cannot recommend enough that players enjoy this game with beer rather than mixed drinks or straight shots, although if these higher content drinks are chosen it will certainly be inspiration to play better. Remember kids, the people setting fire to their alcoholic drinks on the TV are not real, so you should not do the same nor should you ever drink and drive.
